CIVIL ENGINEER

Job description

We are looking for a qualified and motivated Civil Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, designing, supervising, and managing civil engineering projects while ensuring that all work is completed according to approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review engineering drawings, designs, calculations, and technical documents.
• Supervise and monitor construction activities at project sites.
• Ensure construction work complies with approved drawings, specifications, and applicable standards.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, suppliers, and other project team members.
• Monitor project progress, quality, materials, and workmanship.
• Conduct site inspections and identify technical issues or potential problems.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
• Review quantities, measurements, and material requirements.
• Assist with project planning, scheduling, and cost control.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements.
• Resolve technical and site-related issues efficiently.
• Maintain proper project documentation and records.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in civil construction/engineering.
• Good knowledge of construction methods, materials, and engineering standards.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and relevant engineering software.
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid professional certification/license is an advantage.
