Magellan Capital is seeking talented individuals to join our investment team in Dubai for the following positions:

1.EM Corporate Credit Analyst

  • Experience: 3–5 years of practical experience at a buy-side/sell-side financial services firm, or a minimum of 5 years of experience at a credit rating agency.

2 EM Bank Credit Analyst

  • Experience: 3–5 years of practical experience focusing on banks at a buy-side/sell-side financial services firm, or a minimum of 5 years of experience at a credit rating agency.

About the Role

These credit analyst roles are full-time, permanent positions based in our Dubai office . You will work directly with the Senior Portfolio Manager to provide leverage to the portfolio management function while operating in a collaborative team environment to support the full trade lifecycle based on business priorities.

Key Responsibilities & Expectations:

  • Trade Idea Generation: Develop directional and relative value trade ideas across specific Emerging Market corporate sectors (including, but not limited to, oil & gas, consumer, telecom, pulp & paper).
  • Portfolio Support: Maintain model portfolios, evaluate trade ideas, and assist with portfolio implementation.
  • Issuer Engagement: Participate in issuer calls, management meetings, and ongoing credit evaluation.
  • Coverage Development: Demonstrate a clear ability and willingness to quickly take on and develop ongoing coverage across multiple sectors and regions.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • 3–5 years of experience analysing corporate credits on the buy-side or sell-side (or 5+ years at a rating agency).
  • Emerging Markets experience and strong sector knowledge are preferred.
  • High attention to detail, a questioning mindset, and the ability to integrate quickly and add value immediately.
