Technical & Engineering Experts – Grid, Storage & Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs)
About NTU International A/S
NTU International A/S is a leading international consulting company providing project management and technical advisory services worldwide. NTU works extensively with European Union institutions, international financial institutions, development agencies, and public sector clients across energy, climate, infrastructure, economic development, and sustainable investment.
NTU International is preparing a proposal for the EU-MENA Clean Tech Cooperation project and is expanding its network of qualified Non-Key Experts who may be mobilised on a short-term, on-demand basis during project implementation.
We are seeking qualified Technical & Engineering Experts with expertise in power systems, renewable energy integration, electricity grids, energy storage and Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) to join our expert pool.
Key Responsibilities
Selected experts may support activities such as:
- Providing technical expertise on electricity transmission and distribution systems.
- Supporting renewable energy integration and grid modernisation initiatives.
- Assessing grid capacity, flexibility, stability and interconnection requirements.
- Providing technical advice on battery and other energy storage technologies.
- Supporting technical assessments and feasibility studies for renewable energy and clean technology projects.
- Advising on the technical and commercial aspects of Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs).
- Supporting the development of technical standards, grid codes and connection requirements.
- Conducting technical due diligence and supporting project preparation and implementation.
- Providing technical inputs to clean energy strategies, roadmaps and investment programmes.
Requirements
Candidates should demonstrate:
- Relevant university degree in electrical engineering, energy engineering, renewable energy or a related technical discipline.
- Proven professional experience in electricity grids, power systems, renewable energy, energy storage and/or PPAs.
- Experience in the design, assessment or implementation of clean energy infrastructure.
- Knowledge of grid integration, storage solutions, power system planning and electricity-sector technical standards.
- Professional experience in the MENA region is highly desirable.
- Experience with EU-funded or IFI-financed energy projects is advantageous.
Language Requirements
- Excellent command of English .
- Knowledge of French and/or Arabic will be considered a strong asset.

Selected experts will be subject to approval by the Contracting Authority prior to mobilisation. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
