We are looking for…

A passionate IT Professional to join the IT Infrastructure Department (“Platform Grid”) of our client in the role of IT Continuity Manager (“Capability Owner”). The Platform Grid delivers Datacentre hosting services, Public & Private Cloud, Middleware, Database services, Networks, End User Services, Operational Resilience, Service Desk, and 24/7 Operations Control.

The role of IT Continuity Manager is part of the Global IT Resilience & Recovery Block within the Platform Grid, which is responsible for IT Continuity Management, IT Disaster Recovery, and Backup & Restore capabilities across APAC, EMEA, US, and LATAM.

You will:

• Drive global resilience across APAC, EMEA, US, and LATAM regions.
• Serve as the functional capability owner for ITSCM across cloud, datacentre, and traditional IT environments.
• Engage directly with C-Level executives, Senior Leadership, and Technical Teams to embed continuity standards.
• Align IT Continuity with international regulatory frameworks and auditing standards.

Responsibilities

• Own and Maintain the Global ITSCM process, standards, controls, and governance framework.
• Design and maintain IT Service Continuity Templates.
• Monitor & Report on IT Service Continuity Capability Compliance, KPI/KRIs for Risk / Audit oversight.
• Provide guidance and expertise to Product Owners, Architects, Risk Management, Audit, and Senior Leadership.
• Support regulatory compliance, audit, and operational resilience activities.
• Promote awareness, training, and adoption of IT Continuity Management practices.

You are a proactive, self-motivated, and results-oriented IT professional with a strong analytical mindset and proven capabilities in managing IT resilience. You excel at stakeholder management, influencing key decisions, and operating effectively within a global matrix organisation.

Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
• Minimum 7 years’ experience in IT Service Management or related disciplines.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in IT Service Continuity Management roles.
• Experience within highly regulated financial services or banking environments.
• Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, and ServiceNow.

Profile

• Deep knowledge of IT Service Continuity Management (ITSCM), Business Continuity Management Systems (BCM), IT Disaster Recovery, and IT Risk & Control Frameworks.
• Familiarity with IT Application, Infrastructure, Data Centre, and Cloud environments.
• Thorough knowledge of regulatory and industry frameworks including ISO 22301, ISO 27001, NIST2, and DORA.
• Relevant certifications such as Certified IT Service Continuity Management Professional (CITSMP), CBCI (BCI Institute), CBCP (DRI Institute), or ITIL Practitioner.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong executive presence.
• Located in or willing to work from the client’s Amsterdam Office (minimum 3 days per week onsite).
