Position Summary

You will lead Medical Affairs in Switzerland. You will partner with commercial, regulatory, safety and global teams to shape and deliver medical strategy. You will ensure strong medical governance and build trusted relationships with healthcare experts and authorities. We value clear thinking, collaboration, and a patient-first mindset. Responsibilities

This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following:

  • Lead development and execution of the local medical strategy aligned with global and regional priorities.

  • Build and maintain scientific relationships with healthcare professionals, key opinion leaders, societies, and payers.

  • Oversee local evidence generation, real-world studies, and publication planning to support patient care and access.

  • Ensure robust medical governance, compliance and pharmacovigilance systems in the country.

  • Provide medical input to launch and lifecycle plans, HTA and reimbursement discussions, and cross-functional decision-making.

  • Lead, coach and develop the local medical team and contribute to talent planning and capability building.

Why You?

Basic Qualification

We are seeking professionals with the following required skills and qualifications to help us achieve our goals

  • Medical degree (MD), PharmD, PhD or equivalent advanced scientific qualification.

  • Minimum 8 years of relevant medical affairs or clinical development experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech sector.

  • Experience leading medical activities at country level, with proven track record in strategy and stakeholder engagement.

  • Strong knowledge of Swiss healthcare system, regulatory and reimbursement environment.

  • Demonstrable experience in evidence generation, publications or real-world evidence activities.

  • Fluent in English and at least one official Swiss language (German, French or Italian); strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualification

If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus

  • Clinical background with experience as a practising physician or specialist.

  • Previous experience in product launches and cross-functional project leadership.

  • Experience managing pharmacovigilance or close working knowledge of safety systems.

  • Track record of building high-performing teams and developing talent.

  • Familiarity with publication planning, advisory boards, and medical education.

  • Additional Swiss language skills beyond the required languages.

Working pattern

This role is hybrid, based in Switzerland with regular office presence expected to lead teams and engage with partners.
