Fit Out Foreman

Job Summary:
The Fit-Out Foreman is responsible for supervising and coordinating daily fit-out and renovation activities at project sites. The role involves managing site workers and subcontractors, ensuring work is completed according to approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate daily fit-out and renovation works at project sites.
• Manage and allocate tasks to carpenters, painters, masons, electricians, helpers, and other site workers.
• Ensure all works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Coordinate with the Site Engineer, Construction Manager, and other project teams to ensure smooth execution of works.
• Monitor daily progress and ensure activities are completed within the required schedule.
• Check the quality of workmanship and ensure proper finishing standards are maintained.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers when required.
• Ensure proper use, handling, and storage of materials, tools, and equipment.
• Identify site issues, delays, or technical problems and report them to the concerned supervisor/manager.
• Read and interpret construction, architectural, and fit-out drawings.
• Conduct daily site inspections and ensure work areas are properly organized.
• Ensure workers follow company safety procedures and site HSE requirements.
• Maintain daily records of manpower, work progress, materials, and site activities.
• Assist in material estimation and inform management of material requirements.
• Ensure proper housekeeping and cleanliness at the work site.
• Support the project team during inspections, handover, snagging, and rectification works.
• Perform other duties related to fit-out and renovation works as assigned.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Fit-Out Foreman or similar position.
• Proven experience in interior fit-out, renovation, or construction projects.
• Good knowledge of carpentry, gypsum/partition works, painting, flooring, masonry, ceiling works, and general finishing works.
• Ability to read and understand architectural and fit-out drawings.
• Strong knowledge of site coordination and manpower supervision.
• Ability to manage multiple activities and meet project deadlines.
• Good communication and leadership skills.
• Knowledge of UAE construction practices and site safety requirements is preferred.
• Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced site environment.
