Electrical Engineer

We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner!

The Role

• Maintain and operate critical physical infrastructure supporting a leading cloud computing platform.

• Respond to and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical equipment issues within data center environments.

• Perform routine operational readings and audits of mechanical and electrical equipment.

• Ensure adherence to all safety procedures and protocols during work execution.

• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve operational excellence.

• Manage building workflows and spare part inventory using internal systems.

What You'll Need

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

• 3+ years of experience in critical infrastructure maintenance or operation of mechanical or electrical systems in a mission-critical environment.

• Good English verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to perform physical tasks throughout the day, including working at heights and in noisy environments.

• Experience with data center engineering is preferred.

• Ability to troubleshoot facility and rack-level events within internal SLAs.
