You will contribute to global planning with colleagues in the US and Asia and manage operating plans covering demand, production, supply, optimization, distribution and inventory.

You will partner across business, sales, legal, manufacturing and supply chain to align plans, deliver economic value and coordinate production, contingency and short-term strategies. You may also work with co-producers on swaps, exchange, tolling and purchasing agreements.

You will monitor performance versus plan, identify improvement opportunities and shape recommendations across the short-term horizon and 5-year outlook. You will also develop or support dashboards, reports and optimization tools that improve visibility and decision-making for the broader team.

Accountabilities include, but are not limited to

Drive margin optimization of regional and global chemical value chains, in collaboration with US and Asia counterparts.

Determine and optimize production unit run rates for the product family in scope.

Lead regional supply and demand balance optimization for your product family through the monthly S&OP process, working closely with Manufacturing, Sales, Marketing and, where relevant, Trading.

Identify margin improvement opportunities through analysis of value drivers, constraints and scenarios.

Lead the Supply Review step of the I&D IBP process for the product family in scope.

Understand the key dynamics and constraints that affect margin across the value chain, from manufacturing to end customer.

Provide input to and actively support regional and business planning processes.

Translate optimization outputs into clear tactical and strategic requirements for supply and commercial stakeholders.

Drive disciplined execution with stakeholders and promote an end-to-end, value-focused planning mindset.

Provide supporting economic analysis for turnaround planning, optimization initiatives and capital projects.

Contribute to the development of commercial and contracting strategies for the relevant product lines.

Lead planning response during supply or demand disruptions, aligning options and escalating where needed.
