Head of Finance, Germany (m/f/d)

The team is responsible for Finance, accounting, tax, treasury and compliance ownership across CH GmbH and HMO. The team has 8 team members, located at two locations within Germany and work cross borders with global colleagues.   

In this role you’ll make an impact by:

Lead all finance activities for the Germany business, ensuring accurate financial reporting compliant with IFRS and local GAAP. Ensure compliance with tax, legal, statutory, and audit requirements, while maintaining adherence to corporate policies and local regulations

Oversee financial risk management, internal controls, and cash flow to support a strong financial governance framework

Partner with business leaders to provide operational finance support, drive business performance, and enable informed decision-making

Build strong relationships and networks with internal and external stakeholders, acting as a trusted finance business partner across functions

Drive continuous improvement of finance processes, systems, and controls, while fostering collaboration within a larger matrix organization 

To succeed you must hold:

 Proven leadership and people management skills, with experience leading finance teams and supporting large, multi-site organizations

A positive, proactive, and curious mindset, with the ability to navigate a large organization, build networks, and drive change

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; CPA, ACCA, or equivalent qualification is an advantage

Fluent in both German and English, written and spoken

Experience with SAP and working in a Shared Service Center environment is considered an advantage

Working model: Office-first with the flexibility to work remotely two days per week.
