Electrical Construction Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement detailed construction plans, including project scheduling, resource allocation, and workforce planning.
• Coordinate the procurement and installation of electrical equipment, ensuring compliance with project specifications and quality requirements.
• Lead and manage electrical subcontractors, ensuring works are executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project standards.
• Monitor and enforce site health, safety, and environmental requirements, promoting a strong safety culture throughout the project lifecycle.
• Implement robust quality assurance and quality control procedures to ensure all electrical installations meet required standards and specifications.
• Track project progress, identify risks, and proactively implement solutions to maintain programme milestones.
• Monitor project costs, manage budgets, and support cost-control initiatives throughout the construction phase.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams and client representatives to ensure successful project delivery.

Requirements

• Trade background or relevant qualification in Electrical Engineering , Electrical Construction , or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in an Electrical Construction Manager , Senior Electrical Supervisor , or comparable site leadership role.
• Strong technical knowledge of LV/MV systems , electrical infrastructure, installations, and construction sequencing.
• Demonstrated experience managing electrical subcontractors on large-scale industrial, commercial, mission-critical, or data centre projects.
• Excellent leadership, communication, organisational, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong problem-solving ability with a proactive and results-driven approach.
