Job description

For our customer, an internationally leading pharmaceutical company in Bern, we are currently looking to hire a Laboratory Technician (Protein Analytics). Your main responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

 

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine and non-routine laboratory operations under general supervision

  • Perform routine analyses (Protein Analytics) for product development and life-cycle management projects

  • Conduct the sample management

  • Utilize a variety of laboratory equipment, demonstrating a high degree of skill acquired through on-the-job experience

  • Set up and operate special equipment with limited supervision, following manufacturer's instructions

  • Work within current good scientific practice (GSP) guidelines and adhere to all regulatory standards within the lab

  • Research technical literature and evaluate experimental data and processes

  • Aid and train less experienced employees when required

  • Apprenticeship as a Laboratory Technician (EFZ, Chemistry/ Biology) or Bachelor (B.Sc.) in Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, or Chemistry

  • Laboratory experience in QC industrial, biomedical research or clinical labs

  • Work experience with high sample throughput

  • Experience with LIMS and ILM

  • Good practical knowledge of the laboratory environment

  • Fluent in German and English is a plus
