Job description
Location: Abu Dhabi
Are you an experienced Structural Engineer looking to work on challenging construction projects with one of the UAE's leading business groups?
Ali & Sons is seeking a talented Structural Engineer to deliver high-quality structural designs, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and ensure projects are executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with engineering standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare structural designs, shop drawings, calculations, and technical documentation.
- Review structural, architectural, and engineering drawings to ensure design accuracy.
- Coordinate with architectural, MEP, and project teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct site visits, respond to RFIs, and support technical meetings.
- Review subcontractor shop drawings and monitor construction activities for compliance.
- Ensure designs comply with applicable building codes, engineering standards, and client requirements.
- Support project documentation, technical reports, and engineering presentations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in structural engineering within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of structural analysis, design coordination, and construction methodologies.
- Experience with shop drawings, RFIs, technical documentation, and engineering calculations.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other engineering design software.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

Pay: From AED10,000.00 per month
