We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, installation, testing, and maintenance of mechanical systems in various construction and infrastructure projects such as HVAC, Plumbing and Fire Fighting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and other mechanical systems in compliance with project requirements and applicable standards.
• Prepare mechanical layouts, schematics, and detailed design documents including BOQs and specifications.
• Coordinate with architects, electrical and civil engineers, and project managers to ensure system integration.
• Review and approve shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements.
• Conduct site inspections to monitor installation progress and ensure adherence to design and safety standards.
• Participate in testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of mechanical systems.
• Ensure compliance with local codes and authority requirements (e.g., DM, DEWA, DCD).
• Support project documentation and reporting throughout design and construction phases.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience in MEP design and site supervision in the construction industry.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, HAP, and other mechanical design software.
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems, plumbing, firefighting, and ventilation systems.
• Familiarity with local building codes, ASHRAE standards, and health & safety regulations.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Preferred:

• UAE experience with knowledge of local authority approval processes.
• ADM Certified
• Al Dar Certified
