Consulting Lead - Strategic supply chain, Data, AI transformation programs (Chemical / Industrial / Manufacturing / Oil & Gas)

Location: Amsterdam (Onsite) 2 – 3 days

1 year rolling contract

Role Overview

Consulting Lead will serve as primary client-facing representative for strategic supply chain, data, and AI transformation programs. The role is responsible for driving program governance, stakeholder alignment, delivery oversight, and value realization while acting as the bridge between client leadership and global delivery teams.

This individual will build trusted relationships with business and IT stakeholders, lead executive discussions, manage cross-functional teams, and ensure successful delivery of program objectives while identifying opportunities for long-term partnership growth.

Key Responsibilities

Act as the primary onsite point of contact for client leadership across business and technology functions

Lead strategic transformation programs spanning Supply Chain, Data modernization, Commercial Analytics and AI

Own overall program governance, delivery oversight, stakeholder communication, and executive reporting

Lead steering committees, workshops, and business reviews to align on priorities, risks, dependencies, and outcomes

Translate business objectives into executable roadmaps and coordinated delivery plans across multiple workstreams

Coordinate cross-functional teams across business, data, analytics, and technology workstreams

Drive alignment between client stakeholders and global delivery teams to ensure timely execution and issue resolution

Help drive adoption of digital, analytics, and AI-enabled solutions within business processes

Support business development and opportunity identification within the account through trusted client relationships

Mentor consultants and workstream leads to promote delivery excellence and client success

Required Qualifications

15+ years of experience in consulting, program management, or business transformation roles

Experience in Chemicals, Manufacturing, Distribution, or Industrial sectors

Exposure to Supply Chain Planning, Inventory Optimization, S&OP/SIOP, Data & Analytics, or Digital Transformation programs

Understanding of modern data and analytics platforms including SAP, AWS, Databricks, and Power BI ecosystems

Familiarity with Generative AI and Agentic AI use cases in supply chain, commercial, or enterprise operations

Proven experience managing complex, client-facing transformation programs

Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage and influence senior business and technology leaders

Experience leading cross-functional and geographically distributed teams

Strong program governance, risk management, and executive communication capabilities

Ability to operate independently in an onsite leadership capacity and drive outcomes in ambiguous environments

Excellent presentation, facilitation, and relationship-building skills

Preferred Qualifications

Experience managing global delivery teams across onsite and offshore models

Fluency in English is required; German and Dutch language proficiency is strongly preferred
