MEP Technical Engineer

Job Summary We are hiring a Technical Engineer – MEP with a strong background in UAE MEP Construction.

The candidate must have extensive experience in commercial construction projects such as Shopping Malls, Branded Outlets, Office Buildings, High-Rise Buildings, Hotels, Mixed-Use Developments, and Business/Commercial Towers—NOT Villas or Residential Houses. The ideal candidate should be capable of handling all technical engineering activities independently, coordinating with consultants and site teams, and demonstrating leadership potential for future growth within the company.

What We Are Looking For:

Experience: Min 8 years of total experience, with a minimum of 5 years of UAE experience in MEP technical engineering.

- Strong experience with Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems on major commercial projects.

Education: - Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering. - Master's Degree or professional certifications are an advantage.

Project Experience: - Must have worked on Mega Commercial Projects (BQ > AED 50 Million), including High-Rise Towers, Shopping Malls, Hotels, Mixed-Use Developments, Hospitals, Airports, or Business Centers.

Software Proficiency: - AutoCAD - Revit MEP - Navisworks - Bluebeam Revu - Primavera P6 - Microsoft Excel - HAP / Duct Sizer / Pipe Sizer (or equivalent MEP design software)

Additional Skills: - Strong knowledge of UAE codes and authority requirements (ADCD, ADDC, AADC, DEWA, SEWA, Civil Defense, etc.).

- Excellent technical report writing and communication skills. - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Experience in value engineering and technical coordination.

Key Responsibilities: - Review MEP design drawings, specifications, and consultant documents for constructability and compliance. - Prepare and submit Material Submittals, Technical Submittals, Method Statements, and RFIs. - Coordinate MEP shop drawings and ensure compliance with approved design. - Review and coordinate builder's work drawings with Civil, Structural, and Architectural disciplines. - Resolve technical issues and provide engineering solutions during construction. - Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams. - Review equipment selections, technical data sheets, and manufacturers' recommendations.

- Ensure compliance with UAE authority regulations and project specifications. - Participate in value engineering proposals to optimize project cost and performance. - Support the commercial team with technical justifications for variation orders and claims. - Assist planning and project teams in achieving project milestones through timely technical submissions. - Ensure all technical documentation is updated, approved, and properly maintained throughout the project.

Pay: AED14,000.00 - AED16,000.00 per month
