🚨 Urgent Vacancy – Candidates Available Immediately or with No/Short Notice Period Will Be Prioritised

We are currently seeking a Quality Control Analyst (QC Technician III) to join a fast-paced GMP-regulated laboratory environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a laboratory professional with strong analytical testing experience who enjoys working within a manufacturing-focused quality environment.

As part of a multi-skilled analytical team, you will perform a variety of testing activities to support manufacturing operations, product release, environmental monitoring, stability studies, raw material testing, and validation activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform in-process control testing using analytical techniques including (U)HPLC, GC, PSD , and other chemical testing methods.
  • Conduct daily environmental monitoring activities, including conductivity, TOC, and wet chemistry analyses .
  • Carry out non-routine testing for:
  • Finished product release
  • Stability studies
  • Raw materials
  • Validation activities
  • Review, verify, and accurately document analytical results in compliance with GMP requirements.
  • Support laboratory investigations, deviations, troubleshooting activities, and analytical problem-solving.
  • Contribute to efficient laboratory operations, sample management, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Analytical Techniques & Systems

Experience with the following is highly desirable:

  • HPLC / UPLC
  • Gas Chromatography (GC)
  • UV/VIS
  • TOC
  • Particle Size Distribution (PSD)
  • Conductivity Testing
  • Wet Chemistry Techniques

Knowledge of laboratory systems such as LabWare LIMS v7 and Empower 3 would be advantageous.

Shift Pattern

This role operates on a continuous 24/5 rotating shift schedule aligned with production requirements:

Week 1

  • Sunday to Thursday Nights
  • 23:00 – 07:30

Week 2

  • Monday to Friday Evenings
  • 15:00 – 23:30

Week 3

  • Monday to Friday Mornings
  • 07:00 – 15:30

The three-week rotation repeats continuously.

Requirements

  • MLO or HLO qualification in Analytical Chemistry, Chemistry, Life Sciences , or a related scientific discipline.
  • Ability and willingness to work a rotating 24/5 shift pattern.
  • Strong attention to detail with a quality and compliance mindset.
  • Practical, hands-on approach with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • Flexible and adaptable within a dynamic laboratory and manufacturing environment.

Preferred Experience

  • Previous experience working within a GMP-regulated laboratory .
  • Hands-on experience with HPLC, UPLC, GC , or similar chromatographic techniques.
  • Experience using LabWare LIMS, Empower 3 , or equivalent laboratory software systems.
