Lighting Designer

Phoenix Lighting Solutions is looking for a talented and creative Lighting Designer to join our team in the UAE.

We are looking for someone who has a strong understanding of architectural and decorative lighting, can develop lighting concepts, and is able to coordinate with clients, consultants, and project teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop lighting concepts and designs for residential, commercial, hospitality, retail, and architectural projects.
• Prepare lighting layouts, fixture schedules, and detailed lighting drawings.
• Select suitable lighting fixtures based on project requirements, aesthetics, performance, and budget.
• Prepare lighting calculations and ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.
• Coordinate with architects, interior designers, MEP consultants, and contractors.
• Prepare lighting presentations, mood boards, and technical submissions.
• Review shop drawings and coordinate lighting details with site requirements.
• Support the sales and project teams with technical lighting solutions.
• Attend site visits and assist with technical coordination when required.
• Keep up to date with the latest lighting technologies, products, and design trends.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Lighting Designer or in architectural/technical lighting.
• Good knowledge of LED lighting, profiles, strips, modules, drivers, control systems, and architectural lighting products.
• Strong understanding of lighting principles, color temperature, beam angles, lumen output, power consumption, and lighting calculations.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD is required.
• Knowledge of Dialux / DIALux evo is an advantage.
• Knowledge of 3D/visualization software such as SketchUp, 3ds Max, or similar is an advantage.
• Ability to read architectural, electrical, and MEP drawings.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Creative, detail-oriented, organized, and able to work under deadlines.
• UAE experience is preferred.

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
