Entrepreneurship Lecturer

Position Summary

The Entrepreneurship Lecturer is responsible for delivering high-quality teaching, training, and mentorship in entrepreneurship, innovation, venture creation, business development, and startup ecosystems. The role involves designing and delivering undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma, executive education, and professional development programs; facilitating practical entrepreneurial learning experiences; mentoring students and entrepreneurs; contributing to curriculum development; and collaborating with industry partners to strengthen entrepreneurship and innovation ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver courses, diploma modules, workshops, bootcamps, and training programs in entrepreneurship, innovation, startup creation, business development, business models, and related subjects.

• Design and develop course content, training materials, assessments, case studies, and practical learning activities aligned with academic and industry standards.

• Facilitate engaging classroom sessions, executive education programs, workshops, simulations, experiential learning activities, and entrepreneurship training.

• Mentor and support students, entrepreneurs, and startup founders in developing business ideas, validating concepts, and building sustainable ventures.

• Guide participants through entrepreneurial projects, business plans, feasibility studies, pitch presentations, incubation, and acceleration activities.

• Assess student and participant performance, provide constructive feedback, and monitor learning outcomes.

• Contribute to curriculum development, course enhancement, and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Collaborate with faculty members, industry experts, entrepreneurs, investors, and government entities to enhance practical learning and industry engagement.

• Organize and participate in conferences, seminars, entrepreneurship events, startup competitions, innovation challenges, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.

• Stay current with emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in entrepreneurship, innovation, business development, and startup ecosystems.

• Support entrepreneurship centers, incubators, accelerators, innovation labs, and related programs as required.

• Contribute to applied research, consultancy, thought leadership, or publications where appropriate.

• Participate in departmental meetings, quality assurance initiatives, accreditation activities, and institutional committees as assigned.

• Perform other teaching, training, academic, and administrative duties as assigned.

• Bachelor's degree in Entrepreneurship, Business Administration, Management, Innovation, or a related field.

• Experience teaching or delivering training in entrepreneurship, innovation, business, or related disciplines.

• Experience developing and delivering workshops, executive education, or professional training programs.

• Practical experience in entrepreneurship, startup development, consulting, innovation, investment, or business development is preferred.

• Experience mentoring student projects, entrepreneurs, or startup ventures is an advantage.

• Research, publications, or applied research experience is desirable.

• Professional certifications in entrepreneurship, innovation, design thinking, business development, or related fields are a plus.
