Your location

Bremen is a charming city full of history in the northwest of Germany. In addition to being one of the country’s greenest cities, it offers wonderful sights, a rich culture, urban flair and culinary delights. It’s also a great place for seaside lovers, being located just an hour’s drive from the North Sea coast.

Our Benefits for You

Fair Compensation & Extras: Attractive remuneration and individual additional benefits, such as company pension schemes, mobility offers (e.g., bike leasing), or corporate discounts with partner companies in accordance with our current guidelines.

Time for You (and Your Loved Ones): 30 days of annual leave based on our collective agreement (35-hour week); work-life balance through flexible working hours (flextime), mobile working, part-time options, job sharing, and sabbatical opportunities.

Growth Made Easy: Excellent professional development opportunities and international, group-wide career perspectives.

Feel Good at Work: On-site company doctor; comprehensive health programs (sports courses, preventive care, etc.), canteen and cafeteria, and local childcare facilities at selected locations.

Diversity Connects: Work in a diverse environment with more than 140 nationalities, where exchange, mutual support, and inclusion are part of our DNA.

Your tasks and responsibilities

Comprehensive Structural Analysis: Conduct static and dynamic structural analyses, as well as Fatigue and Damage Tolerance (F&DT) analyses for the A400M fuselage using Finite Element (FE) methods with commercial tools as well as classical hand calculation methods.

Repair & Maintenance: Provide technical support for repairs, covering both the creation of repair manuals and daily operational business.

Supplier & Partner Management: Oversee the technical support and validation of work packages from our international partners (PAG, Turkish Aerospace, Airbus Atlantique).

Testing & Validation: Define and monitor structural tests to validate analysis results and actively support the certification process according to aviation standards (e.g., EASA Part 21, CS-25).

Problem Solving & Optimization: Analyze in-service data, support structural root cause analysis, and identify optimization potentials regarding the weight, cost, and performance of structural components.

Desired skills and qualifications

Education: A university degree in Engineering (Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering, or a comparable qualification).

Expertise (Technical Approver): You are capable of working autonomously at a "Technical Approver" level in the field of metal stress analysis. This includes the use of commercial FE-Softeare (e.g NASTRAN, HYPERWORKS, ABAQUS) and a wide knowledge in classical handcalculation methods (e.g HSB, ESDU).

A fundamental knowledge in composite stress analysis is not mandatory but beneficial.

Languages: Fluent English is mandatory (German is a plus).

Flexibility & Commitment: You bring a willingness to travel to our international partners. Additionally, you are willing to volunteer for AOG (Aircraft on Ground) standby duties during weekends and bank holidays.
