GLOBAL HEAD OF APPLICATION MANAGEMENT FINISHING (M/F/D) - BUSINESS DIVISION TEXTILE SOLUTIONS

Contract: full-time/ permanent

Location: Tübingen

Start date: according to agreement

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for all application activities within the application segment Finishing, with a focus on delivering global application services and support for sales, technical customer support und portfolio management 

• Manage opportunity and service requests, including lab work, customer trials and training

• Cooperate with sales and customers, and support opportunity identification across segments, regions and customers

• Support the market segments of the Business Division by defining and driving the strategic direction of the application management in alignment with Business Division and Market Segment goals

• Lead, coach, and coordinate a team of Application Specialists and the laboratory team, fostering collaboration across segments, regions, and countries and ensuring the alignment of technical resources to support sales, portfolio management and customer engagement efforts globally

• Represent the segment in strategic partnerships, industry networks and at technical conferences

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

• Degree in textile studies, textile engineering or equivalent qualification

• Experience in a medium-sized company environment with international steering, combined with the ability to manage effectively and thoughtfully in a global matrix organization with hands-on approach as required

• Proven experience pf products and processes within the respective application segment

• Leadership skills with a focus on empowerment through effective communication tailored to people, situations, and desired outcomes

• Business-fluent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, and the ability to act confidently across all hierarchy levels

• Willingness to travel on business internationally
