QA Lead

As QA Lead, you drive how quality is defined, validated, and delivered across the platform.

Your impact

AI is central to this role and to how we work at ANVA. As an AI-first company, our ambition is to set the pace for AI in our market. We see QA as one of the biggest opportunities to drive AI adoption. You will shape our AI-first QA approach across the teams and set the standards they build upon. We expect AI to already be a core part of your daily workflow, and you can demonstrate this during the interview process.

ANVA's highly configurable platform presents unique testing challenges across configuration, code, and infrastructure. As QA Lead, you define the testing strategy, develop the tooling, and enable teams to deliver quality at scale.

You drive quality across the software delivery lifecycle, from standards and automation to release management, working closely with product and engineering teams. Another important aspect is providing technical leadership to 4 QA Engineers and setting the QA direction across 8 development teams building core insurance workflows.

Release management is a central part of the role. You own the release process, ensuring predictable delivery through clear communication, expectation management, and dependency coordination.

Your milestones

• Define and drive ANVA's QA strategy and its AI-first direction.
• Build a scalable Quality Management System and embed quality standards, objectives, and acceptance criteria across teams.
• Provide technical leadership to 4 QA Engineers and set the QA direction across 8 development teams.
• Establish testing approaches for a configuration-driven, services-based platform, building the test tooling and processes it requires where existing tools fall short.
• Drive Shift-Left testing and Quality Engineering practices and integrate quality controls into CI/CD pipelines.
• Own and optimize release management and communicate release status and expectations clearly to the internal stakeholders who depend on them.
• Lead the ANVA QA Guild.
• Coach teams on AI-assisted testing and establish AI-first QA as the daily standard.

Who are you?

You re a QA Lead with:

• A bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• A track record of building Quality Management Systems and QA and QE capability.
• The ability to explain how you use AI in your daily QA work and the reasoning behind it.
• A strong technical foundation, that can understand complex systems spanning configuration, code, and infrastructure.
• Skills to design and build test tooling and processes rather than relying only on off-the-shelf solutions.
• A strong command of test automation frameworks, CI/CD, and Shift-Left testing.
• Experience with release management and leading technically.
• Familiarity with Agile and DevOps environments.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: €5.500,00 - €6.965,00 per month
