Your role at a glance As the Senior Director - Construction (m/f/d), you will be responsible for the successful delivery of hyperscale data center campuses and mission-critical infrastructure projects. Acting as the senior site leader, you will oversee multiple concurrent projects and construction phases, ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, programme delivery, budget management, commissioning, operational readiness, and stakeholder engagement.
This role is primarily based at our FRA6 site, with the opportunity to support other locations across Frankfurt as business needs require. While the position is predominantly site-based, there is flexibility for occasional remote working where operational and project requirements permit.

What we are looking for
What will you do

Lead and develop multidisciplinary teams across construction, project management, design, project controls, commissioning, and vendor management

Provide strategic leadership for the successful delivery of hyperscale data center campuses and associated infrastructure

Oversee all construction activities, including civil works, shell and core, MEP systems, fit-out, utilities, and external infrastructure

Promote a strong health, safety, and environmental culture, ensuring compliance with company standards and applicable regulations

Manage project schedules, budgets, quality performance, risk management, change control, and executive reporting

Coordinate general contractors, specialist subcontractors, OFCI suppliers, utility providers, authorities, and key stakeholders

Collaborate closely with Engineering, Procurement, Operations, Commissioning, Commercial, and HSE teams throughout the project lifecycle

Drive programme consistency, standardization, and continuous improvement across campus delivery activities

Ensure contractor performance, workforce planning, productivity, and milestone achievement are effectively managed

Oversee commissioning, integrated systems testing, and phased handover processes to ensure operational readiness
What are we looking for
-
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management, Business, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Extensive experience in construction and project leadership, including at least 10 years within mission-critical, industrial, infrastructure, or data center environments

Proven track record of delivering large-scale campus developments or mission-critical projects, ideally exceeding 100MW of critical capacity

Strong knowledge of construction management, project controls, planning, procurement, contract administration, and commissioning

Experience delivering projects through Design & Build, EPC, Management Contracting, and/or traditional procurement models

Sound understanding of major contract frameworks, including FIDIC and comparable forms of contract

Demonstrated ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships within client, contractor, supplier, and authority environments

Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, organizational, and presentation skills
-
Proficiency in Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint, and project reporting tools

Ability to work effectively in international and multicultural teams

German and English language skills are essential for the role
