Job description

Design, develop, implement, and test software solutions supporting CYB MNT activities, including vulnerability management, automation, reporting, and cybersecurity operations.

Contribute to software architecture decisions and define technical solutions aligned with project requirements.

Support the complete software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance.

Guide and mentor software development team members regarding development practices, architecture, and technical approaches.

Collaborate closely with Cyber Security Managers and Team Leads to ensure software solutions are aligned with customer needs and cybersecurity requirements.

Develop and maintain technical documentation, including software architecture documentation, coding standards, project documentation, and operational procedures.

Promote best practices in software engineering, including Agile methodologies, Test-Driven Development, Continuous Integration, and CI/CD processes.

Support the improvement and automation of existing processes through innovative software solutions.

University degree in Software Development, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, IT Security, or equivalent professional experience.

Minimum 5 years of experience in software development and/or software architecture.

Strong knowledge of software engineering principles, including software architecture, full-stack development, OOP, Agile methodologies, TDD, RESTful APIs, CI/CD, and containerization.

Advanced programming skills in Python, including experience with frameworks such as Django, FastAPI, or Flask, and libraries such as pandas and NumPy.

Experience with complex database design and management using technologies such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB.

Knowledge of containerization and DevOps technologies, including Docker, Docker Compose, Git, and GitLab CI/CD.

Familiarity with frontend technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS), scripting (Bash, PowerShell), and Linux/Windows server administration.

Experience in cybersecurity architecture, vulnerability management, or security monitoring environments is considered an advantage.
This role is based in Weßling-Oberpfaffenhofen, Germany.
