We are currently looking for an Energy Storage Technical Support Engineer based in the Netherlands to support customers, installers, and business partners across the European market.

This role requires close collaboration with our R&D and technical teams in China. Candidates with Chinese language skills will be considered an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for energy storage systems (ESS), battery systems, and photovoltaic inverter products, including remote assistance and on-site technical service.
• Support customers, installers, and partners with system commissioning, configuration, troubleshooting, and technical problem resolution.
• Diagnose equipment issues, analyze system performance, and provide effective technical solutions.
• Prepare technical documentation, including troubleshooting reports, service reports, and technical issue summaries.
• Collect customer feedback and communicate with the R&D team in China to support product improvements.
• Provide product training and technical guidance to installers and partners.
• Support project delivery, commissioning activities, and after-sales service development across Europe.
• Travel within Europe when required for customer support and technical activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Automation, Renewable Energy, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in renewable energy, energy storage systems (ESS), battery systems, photovoltaic inverters, technical support, field service, or related engineering roles.
• Basic understanding of energy storage systems, batteries, inverters, BMS (Battery Management System), EMS (Energy Management System), and photovoltaic systems.
• Experience with equipment commissioning, troubleshooting, fault diagnosis, and customer technical support.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-oriented mindset with the ability to solve technical issues independently.
• Fluent Dutch is required. Chinese and English language skills are an advantage due to collaboration with our China-based technical team.
• Willingness to travel within Europe for customer visits and on-site technical support.
