Job description

Do you have experience designing electrical systems and would you like to contribute to luxury superyacht projects?

We are looking for an Electrical Design Engineer – Lighting & Safety (Superyachts) for a leading maritime engineering organization, and we would like to get in touch with you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design complete lighting installations and safety systems for luxury superyachts.
  • Translate customer requirements, class regulations, and technical standards into practical and high-quality electrical designs.
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation and electrical drawing packages.
  • Collaborate with project teams, interior suppliers, and clients to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems into the yacht design.
  • Support projects throughout the entire engineering process, from concept to delivery.
  • Ensure designs comply with applicable maritime regulations and quality standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (HBO) in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
  • Several years of experience as an Electrical Design Engineer or Hardware Design Engineer .
  • Experience designing electrical systems and preparing technical drawing packages.
  • Experience with lighting systems and/or safety installations is an advantage.
  • Ability to translate customer requirements and regulations into practical engineering solutions.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary project teams.
  • Proactive, accurate, and solution-oriented mindset.
  • Good command of Dutch and/or English .
