Role Description The Design Specialist role at AI Careerspark is a full-time, on-site position based in Amsterdam. In this role, the Design Specialist will create and refine visual assets for the platform, marketing materials, and product interfaces, ensuring cohesive and engaging brand experiences. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing graphics and layouts, collaborating with product and marketing teams on design concepts, and translating complex ideas into clear visual communication. The Design Specialist will also support the design of user experiences and learning content, contribute to design documentation, and participate in feedback and iteration cycles to improve existing assets. This position involves working closely with a small, cross-functional team to help shape the visual identity of AI-driven career development solutions.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Graphic Design and Graphics, with the ability to produce high-quality visual assets for digital products and marketing materials.
• Experience with Architecture and Computer-Aided Design (CAD) or related design tools, especially for structured layouts, spatial design, or complex visual systems.
• Ability to conduct Research to inform design decisions, user experience improvements, and visual storytelling.
• Proficiency in industry-standard design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Cloud, Figma, Sketch or similar).
• Understanding of UX/UI principles, responsive design, and accessibility best practices.
• Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Relevant education or equivalent experience in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Architecture, or a related field.
• Experience designing for tech or education platforms, and interest in AI-driven products, is an advantage.
