Civil Draftsman

Job Title: Civil Draftsman

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed civil engineering drawings using CAD software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or MicroStation.
• Draft site layouts, grading plans, road alignments, drainage systems, utility networks, and infrastructure details.
• Interpret engineering sketches, specifications, and survey data to create accurate drawings.
• Revise and update drawings according to engineer or client comments.
• Ensure drawings comply with project standards, local regulations, and engineering codes.
• Coordinate with civil engineers, architects, surveyors, and project teams.
• Maintain drawing records, document control, and drawing registers.
• Prepare as-built drawings based on completed construction works.
• Assist in quantity take-offs and preparation of technical documentation when required.

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in CAD drafting software.
• Knowledge of civil engineering and construction practices.
• Understanding of technical drawings, scales, and engineering standards.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering plans and specifications.
