To steer current and future projects, Airbus Helicopters is looking for a new team member to join the team in Augsburg at the earliest possible date as a
Business Development Aircraft (m/f/d)
for MRO (Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul).

Your tasks and responsibilities:
Global Network & Compliance: Support MRO AC Business strategy to identify, within the global AH Customer Centers and Regions network, opportunities to leverage business generation, profitability targets and its strict adherence to Operating Plan (OP) and Forecast (FC) commitments across geographical footprints
Offset & OPA Leadership: support Offset Business Cases and the MRO AC offer preparation (OPAs) in alignment and coordination with the S&S related teams
Data-Driven Market Capture: Identify, within the internal teams, opportunities to develop SBs and STCs based on customers feedback, fleet data, and "lost deal" reports to proactively suggest market capture campaigns in coordination with the Sales teams
Sales Funnel Orchestration: Drive the sales funnel activities within the regions, proactively proposing solutions and identifying commercial targets, projects technical feasible and financially aligned with MRO AC (Maintenance, Repair & Operations) Business goals
Product Support Policy Input: Feed real-world contractual performance data back into the Product Support Policy to anticipate upcoming market needs and technical shifts
Regional & Cross-Functional Liaison: Serve as the main point of contact between Regions, Customer Centers and other teams of the department to anticipate fleet support needs
Stakeholder Coordination: Work in tight synchronization with different departments to successfully drive strategic MRO AC Service Bulletins development projects and on identifying potential partners and market solutions to be applied on specific retrofits projects
Desired skills and qualifications:
Aerospace Engineering degree (or a related technical field) is preferred
8+ years of experience in Contract Management, Business Development or Program Management within the Aerospace/Defense sector
Experience in Design or Industrial Offset projects is an advantage
Strong financial literacy with the ability to interpret Profit and Loss statements, build complex Business Cases and manage the OP/FC adherence
Analytical to uncover the "why" within data and present insights clearly to executive leadership is an advantage
Diplomatic negotiation skills to reconcile the "Sales" push for volume with the "Operations" push for margin
A proactive “Drumbeater” mindset with a high-energy approach to keep projects on track, hit deadlines and keep costs under control, ensuring the delivery as committed and the customer satisfaction
Fluent English skills as a core requirement
