Job description

Contribute to one or more of the following strategic initiatives within the Office of the Chief AI Officer:

  • AI Adoption Roadmap: Support the development of structured AI adoption roadmaps for NCS business units, translating identified opportunities into phased implementation plans that leadership can act on. This is a living document that directly informs how NCS prioritizes AI investment.

  • AI Use Case Repository & Evaluation Framework: Help build and maintain a repository of AI use cases across NCS's service lines, complete with a standardized evaluation framework covering business value, feasibility, and risk. This becomes a core reference tool for AI decision-making across the organization.

  • Market & Competitive Intelligence Briefs: Produce periodic intelligence reports on AI trends, competitor moves, and emerging technologies relevant to NCS's clients and industries. These briefs feed directly into leadership discussions and client conversations.

  • AI Governance Framework: Contribute to the development of responsible AI practices and governance documentation, including risk assessments, principle alignment reviews, and policy briefs that shape how NCS deploys AI responsibly at scale.

What You’ll Do:

Strategic Planning & Analysis

  • Conduct research on AI technologies, industry trends, and best practices to support strategic decision-making

  • Analyse data and synthesize findings to evaluate AI opportunities across NCS's business units

  • Assist in developing business cases and ROI models for AI initiatives Support the creation of strategic planning documents, roadmaps, and executive presentations

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Coordinate with business units to understand AI needs and surface opportunities

  • Facilitate workshops and brainstorming sessions to gather requirements and align priorities

  • Support engagement with partners and alliances to explore AI collaboration opportunities

  • Assist with internal communications on AI strategy and initiatives

Documentation & Reporting

  • Prepare presentation decks on the progress of AI initiatives Document AI use cases, evaluation findings, lessons learned, and best practices

  • Maintain knowledge repositories and ensure materials are organized and accessible Create clear, concise summaries for leadership review

Innovation & Learning

  • Stay current on the latest AI developments and assess their relevance to NCS and our clients

  • Participate in AI-related training sessions and internal knowledge-sharing activities

  • Contribute ideas for innovative AI solutions and support proof-of-concept or pilot projects

Soft Skills

  • Strong analytical thinking and ability to synthesize information from multiple sources

  • Clear written and verbal communication, including the ability to present complex ideas to non-technical audiences

  • Intellectual curiosity and genuine interest in AI and its business applications

  • Initiative and comfort working with ambiguity

  • Collaborative and able to engage across functions and seniority levels

  • Organized and detail-oriented, especially when managing documents and tracking multiple workstreams

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint, Word, and Excel

  • Familiarity with data visualization tools Basic understanding of AI and machine learning concepts (does not need to be a practitioner)

  • Familiarity with strategic planning or project management frameworks is a plus
