About the job:

Responsibilities

During the Graduate Trainee Program:

Participate in short-term rotations across relevant units (e.g., Corporate Coverage, Risk, Trade Finance, Global Markets, or Transaction Banking) to gain a holistic understanding of the bank’s corporate offering.

Support coverage teams in client analysis, preparation of pitch materials, and internal coordination.

Assist in credit analysis, financial statement review, and client due diligence processes.

Contribute to internal projects, market research, and process improvements.

As a Corporate Client Coverage Analyst:

Support Relationship Managers in the day-to-day management of Indian corporate client portfolios.

Prepare client reviews, credit proposals, account plans, and management presentations.

Coordinate with internal product teams (e.g., cash management, trade finance, lending, markets) to deliver integrated solutions to clients.

Monitor client performance, market developments, and industry trends relevant to Indian corporates.

Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and risk standards.

Education:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related discipline.

Strong academic background is essential.

Experience:

Graduate-level profile, with some prior experience preferred (e.g., internships or 1–2 years) in corporate banking, investment banking, consulting, or related financial services roles.

Exposure to corporate clients or emerging markets is an advantage.

 

Skills & Competencies:

Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.

Ability to synthesize financial and business information into clear insights.

Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Strong attention to detail, proactive mindset, and ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Interest in corporate banking and client coverage, with a long-term career orientation.

 

Languages:

English: Full professional proficiency (mandatory)

Hindi: Preferred

Spanish: An advantage
