Head of Information Technology

We are looking for an experienced technology leader to lead its IT function and drive enterprise-wide digital transformation. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution, requiring someone who can modernise technology capabilities while ensuring stable, secure and efficient IT operations.

The successful candidate will work closely with senior leadership to shape technology strategy, lead digital initiatives, strengthen cybersecurity and data capabilities, and build a high-performing technology team.

Key Responsibilities

Technology Strategy

• Develop and execute the organisation's technology and digital transformation roadmap aligned with business priorities.
• Lead initiatives involving AI, automation, cloud technologies and digital platforms to improve operational efficiency and user experience.
• Identify emerging technologies and recommend practical solutions that create business value.

IT Operations & Enterprise Technology

• Oversee enterprise IT infrastructure, cloud environment, networks, business applications and end-user support.
• Ensure high availability, business continuity, disaster recovery and cybersecurity across the organisation.
• Manage technology vendors, outsourced service providers and IT budgets.

Data, Governance & Security

• Drive enterprise data governance and improve reporting and analytics capabilities.
• Ensure compliance with relevant cybersecurity, privacy and regulatory requirements.
• Strengthen IT governance, risk management and technology policies.

Leadership & Stakeholder Management

• Partner with senior business leaders to align technology investments with organisational objectives.
• Lead, coach and develop the IT team while fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
• Manage complex technology projects and transformation programmes across multiple stakeholders.

Requirements

Experience

• At least 10 years of progressive experience in Information Technology, including a minimum of 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Demonstrated success in leading digital transformation, enterprise technology strategy and organisation-wide technology initiatives.

Technical Expertise

• Strong understanding of Enterprise Architecture and Cloud Platforms (Azure and/or AWS).
• Experience with business intelligence and analytics tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Good knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, IT governance and risk management.
• Familiarity with AI, automation and digital technologies is highly desirable.

Preferred Certifications

Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISA, ITIL, PMP, PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum Master or cloud certifications will be advantageous.
