Job description

  • Oversee mechanical and electrical works on-site, including HVAC systems, chilled water systems, power distribution, UPS, generators, and fire suppression systems.

  • Ensure adherence to design specifications, local codes, and international standards.

  • Conduct inspections and testing of M&E installations.

  • Verify compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards.

  • Liaise with project managers, consultants, and contractors to resolve technical issues.

  • Provide regular progress reports and updates to stakeholders.

  • Review shop drawings, material submissions, and method statements for M&E systems.

  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving system issues during construction and commissioning phases.

  • Identify potential risks and propose mitigation strategies.

  • Ensure timely resolution of site-related challenges.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

  • 10 - 15 years of relevant experience in M&E engineering, preferably in data center or mission-critical projects.

  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, chilled water systems, power distribution, UPS, and fire suppression systems.

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.

  • Familiarity with Singapore building codes and regulations.

  • Registered and accredited as an M&E RTO with the Institution of Engineers Singapore (IES)/Association of Consulting Engineers Singapore (ACES) Joint Accreditation Committee (JAC)
