CIVIL STORM WATER ENGINEER

We are looking for an experienced and qualified Civil / Storm Water Site Engineer to join our team for the CMW Project in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in civil infrastructure and stormwater drainage works, with the ability to manage site activities, coordinate with project teams, and ensure construction works are completed according to approved drawings, specifications, and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage daily civil and stormwater drainage construction activities.
• Monitor the installation and construction of stormwater drainage networks, pipelines, manholes, catch basins, culverts, and related structures.
• Ensure all works are executed as per approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and project requirements.
• Review construction drawings and coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, and site teams.
• Verify pipeline alignment, levels, gradients, excavation, bedding, backfilling, and reinstatement works.
• Coordinate with surveyors to ensure correct levels and setting-out of stormwater networks.
• Monitor site progress, manpower, materials, and equipment requirements.
• Identify and resolve technical and site-related issues in coordination with the Project Manager and relevant stakeholders.
• Prepare daily and weekly progress reports and maintain proper project documentation.
• Coordinate inspections, testing, commissioning, and handover of completed works.
• Ensure compliance with project quality requirements, HSE standards, and relevant UAE regulations.
• Participate in technical meetings and coordinate with clients, consultants, and authorities when required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in civil infrastructure and stormwater drainage projects.
• Strong knowledge of stormwater drainage systems, pipelines, manholes, chambers, culverts, and associated civil works.
• Experience in site supervision and execution of infrastructure projects.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and relevant civil engineering software.
• Strong communication, coordination, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• UAE/GCC project experience is preferred.
• CMW project experience or relevant stormwater infrastructure experience will be an advantage.
• Candidates available in the UAE are preferred.
