Job description

Electrical Project Engineer – Data Centres

€60,000 – €80,000 + flights, accommodation and rotation package

Frankfurt, Germany | Permanent | 17 on / 4 off rotation available

Fancy building some of the biggest data centres in Europe without relocating your whole life to Germany? This one comes with flights and accommodation paid, a 17/4 rotation if you want it, and a pipeline of hyperscale work that isn't slowing down.

You'll join the Frankfurt delivery team of a well-established international building services contractor, coordinating the electrical side of major mission-critical projects from design review through to commissioning and handover. You'll work alongside PMs, QSs and design engineers, keep subcontractors moving, and be the person who sorts technical queries before they become programme problems.

What you'll be doing

  • Reviewing electrical drawings, specs and technical submittals
  • Raising and tracking RFIs and coordinating design changes
  • Coordinating procurement of electrical equipment and long-lead items
  • Monitoring installation quality and subcontractor performance on site
  • Supporting testing, commissioning, O&M manuals and project close-out

What we're looking for

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar
  • Experience delivering electrical projects in construction, ideally coordinating installations on live sites
  • Able to read electrical drawings and manage submittals and RFIs
  • Fluent English
  • EU passport, or existing right to work in Germany

Data centre or mission-critical experience, MV/LV knowledge, AutoCAD and German are all nice to have, not deal-breakers.

What's on offer

  • €60,000 – €80,000 depending on experience
  • Flights and accommodation fully covered for rotational staff
  • 17 days on / 4 off rotation available
  • Pension, life assurance and generous annual leave
  • Ongoing training and a clear route up through a growing international business
  • Hyperscale data centre and critical infrastructure projects across Germany and Europe
