Digital Transformation Engineer

Job Overview

We are looking for a motivated Digitalization, Industry 4.0, IoT, AI & Software Development Engineer to develop and implement smart industrial solutions. The role focuses on Industrial IoT (IIoT), software development, AI/ML, data analytics, and system integration to drive digital transformation, improve operational efficiency, and enable data-driven decision-making in industrial environments.

Industry Experience Preferred: Software Development, IOT, Manufacturing, Steel, Power, Ports & Maritime, Process Industries, or Industrial Automation.

Key Responsibilities

Digitalization & Software Development

• Design and develop Industry 4.0 and digital transformation solutions.
• Develop desktop, web, and cloud-based industrial software applications.
• Integrate shop-floor equipment with enterprise systems for real-time monitoring and analytics.
• Build APIs, dashboards, and middleware for industrial applications.

Industrial IoT & System Integration

• Develop and deploy IIoT solutions using PLCs, SCADA, HMIs, sensors, gateways, and cloud platforms.
• Integrate industrial devices using MQTT, OPC UA, Modbus TCP/IP, Profinet, and REST APIs.
• Connect production systems with MES, ERP, databases, and cloud platforms.

AI & Data Analytics

• Develop AI/ML solutions for predictive maintenance, anomaly detection, quality inspection, and process optimization.
• Build data pipelines, analyze industrial data, and create visualization dashboards.

Support & Collaboration

• Support commissioning, testing, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of digital solutions.
• Work closely with Automation, Production, Maintenance, IT, and Engineering teams.
• Follow industrial cybersecurity and software development best practices.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software, Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Automation, Industrial Engineering, or related field.

Experience: 1- 5 years in Software Development, Digitalization, IIoT, Industry 4.0, AI/ML, or Industrial Automation.

Technical Skills

• Programming Languages: C, C++, Python, C#, Java, JavaScript, Shell Scripting, .NET, Linux
• Microcontrollers & Embedded Systems: Arduino, ESP32, STM32, Raspberry Pi, ARM Cortex, RTOS
• Industrial IoT (IIoT): MQTT, OPC UA, Modbus TCP/IP, Profinet, EtherNet/IP, BACnet, REST APIs, WebSockets, TCP/IP
• Software Development: Web applications, desktop applications, backend systems, REST APIs, middleware, microservices
• AI / Machine Learning: TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, Keras, OpenCV
• Computer Vision: YOLO, image classification, object detection, segmentation, OCR
• Data & Databases: SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, InfluxDB, ETL pipelines
• Data Visualization: Power BI, Grafana, Tableau
• DevOps & Tools: Git, GitHub/GitLab, CI/CD pipelines
• Industrial Cybersecurity: ICS security, IEC 62443, network security, encryption, authentication
• Engineering Skills: Debugging, troubleshooting, system integration, technical documentation
• Industrial Automation: PLC, SCADA, HMI, VFD, industrial sensors, data acquisition systems, MES, ERP integration. (Optional)
