We are looking for an experienced Senior Technical Engineer (Civil & Architectural) to join our technical team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in engineering coordination, shop drawings, technical submittals, material approvals, and project execution for civil and architectural works.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and coordinate civil and architectural drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
• Prepare, review, and manage shop drawings, technical submittals, method statements, RFIs, and material submittals.
• Coordinate with consultants, clients, subcontractors, and project teams to resolve technical issues.
• Ensure all engineering documentation complies with project specifications, local authority requirements, and applicable codes.
• Provide technical support to site engineers during construction and resolve design-related issues.
• Coordinate architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines to minimize clashes and improve constructability.
• Review BOQs, material specifications, and construction details.
• Participate in design reviews, value engineering, and technical meetings.
• Monitor drawing revisions and maintain document control throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support project planning by identifying technical risks and proposing practical engineering solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 7–10 years of experience, including at least 3 years in a senior technical engineering role within the UAE construction industry.
• Strong experience in civil and architectural works for villas, residential, commercial, fit-out, and maintenance projects.
• Excellent knowledge of UAE construction standards, authority regulations, and engineering best practices.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
• Experience with engineering documentation, shop drawings, technical coordination, and consultant approvals.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively under deadlines.
• UAE Driving License is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with main contractors in the UAE.
• Familiarity with BIM/Revit and document management systems is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing and multidisciplinary coordination.
