Key Responsibilities

As our Senior MEP Engineer, you will:

• Lead the design, coordination, and technical review of Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing (MEP), Drainage, Fire Protection, and ELV systems from concept design through tender documentation.
• Ensure seamless coordination between MEP, Architectural, Structural, Interior Design, and BIM teams.
• Review engineering calculations, equipment selections, system sizing, routing, and service coordination to ensure efficient and practical designs.
• Ensure all MEP designs comply with Abu Dhabi authority requirements, including ADM, ADDC, Civil Defense, Estidama, and other applicable regulations.
• Manage authority submissions, technical comments, approvals, and resubmissions.
• Conduct multidisciplinary coordination meetings and proactively resolve design conflicts.
• Review BIM models, shop drawings, and clash detection reports to ensure coordination accuracy and project quality.
• Prepare and review technical specifications, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), and equipment schedules.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to design engineers, BIM coordinators, and drafting teams.
• Support procurement and construction teams by providing technical clarifications and value engineering solutions.
• Present engineering recommendations and technical solutions to management, consultants, and project stakeholders.
• Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with company standards, project requirements, applicable codes, and agreed timelines.

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will have:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience, preferably within the UAE.
• Extensive experience in MEP design and coordination for residential and mixed-use developments.
• Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Drainage, Fire Protection, and ELV systems.
• In-depth understanding of Abu Dhabi authority regulations and approval processes.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, Navisworks, and other relevant engineering software.
• Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, and coordination skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy.
