Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Planning Engineer to join our project team. The successful candidate will assist in developing project schedules, monitoring progress, preparing reports, and supporting project planning activities to ensure projects are completed on time and within scope.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and maintaining project schedules.
• Monitor project progress and update schedules regularly.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
• Support project managers in planning and scheduling activities.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement and construction teams.
• Identify schedule variances and assist in developing recovery plans.
• Track project milestones and deliverables.
• Maintain planning documentation and project records.
• Assist in resource planning and workload analysis.
• Ensure compliance with company planning procedures and project requirements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering or a related discipline.
• 2–3 years of experience in project planning or construction projects.
• Knowledge of project scheduling principles (CPM).
• Basic knowledge of Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple tasks.
