Database Developer

About The Role Design, build, and maintain high-performance relational databases that support enterprise applications. Develop scalable database solutions while ensuring performance, reliability, data integrity, and security.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain relational database structures and database objects.
• Develop complex PL/SQL stored procedures, triggers, functions, and packages.
• Optimize database performance through indexing, query optimization, and performance tuning.
• Design and implement ETL pipelines for data integration and migration.
• Maintain database integrity, security, and access controls.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database performance and application issues.
• Collaborate with application developers to support enterprise solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–8 years of experience in database development.
• Strong experience with Oracle databases, SQL, and PL/SQL development.
• Experience designing relational database structures.
• Experience with database performance tuning, indexing, and query optimization.
• Experience implementing ETL pipelines.
• Knowledge of database security, data integrity, and access control.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud database platforms.
• Experience with data warehousing and database migration projects.
• Experience with version control and database deployment tools.
