Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified and motivated Electrical Site Engineer to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate must have 1 to 4 years of electrical site engineering experience within the UAE and possess a valid UAE driving license. The candidate will be responsible for supervising electrical installation works, ensuring compliance with project specifications, applicable standards, and quality requirements while coordinating with consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor electrical installation works at project sites.
• Review and interpret electrical drawings, shop drawings, and schematic diagrams.
• Ensure all electrical works comply with project specifications, UAE regulations, and relevant international standards.
• Perform voltage drop calculations and verify cable sizing.
• Ensure proper implementation of electrical wiring standards and installation practices.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, suppliers, and project teams to ensure timely project execution.
• Prepare material requests and verify delivered materials against approved specifications.
• Conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues during construction.
• Prepare site reports, progress updates, and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality procedures.
• Attend site meetings and provide technical support throughout project execution.

RequirementsMandatory Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 1–4 years of Electrical Site Engineering experience in the United Arab Emirates (Mandatory).
• Valid UAE Driving License (Mandatory).
• Strong knowledge of electrical installations for commercial, residential, and infrastructure projects.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Ability to read and interpret:
• Electrical drawings
• Single-line diagrams
• Schematic diagrams
• Shop drawings
• Good understanding of:
• Voltage drop calculations
• Cable sizing
• Electrical wiring standards
• Load calculations
• Electrical distribution systems
• Knowledge of testing and commissioning procedures is an advantage.
• Familiarity with UAE electrical regulations and international standards (IEC).
