MECHCNICAL PROJECT MANAGER

Position: Mechanical Project Manager
Project: TAQA TRANSCO Flow Meter Installation & Related Works
Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee flow meter installation, replacement, testing, commissioning, and maintenance projects for TAQA TRANSCO.
• Plan, execute, and monitor project activities to ensure completion within schedule, budget, and quality requirements.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Review project specifications, drawings, method statements, and technical submittals.
• Ensure compliance with TAQA TRANSCO standards, HSE regulations, and project requirements.
• Prepare project schedules, manpower plans, material requirements, and progress reports.
• Monitor project performance and resolve technical and operational issues.
• Attend project meetings and provide regular updates to management and clients.
• Manage project documentation, approvals, inspections, and handover processes.
• Supervise site engineers, supervisors, and technicians to ensure efficient project execution.
• Ensure all testing and commissioning activities are carried out according to approved procedures.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 8–10 years of experience in mechanical project management within the water, utility, pipeline, or infrastructure sector.
• Proven experience in flow meter installation, water transmission networks, pumping stations, or related utility projects.
• Experience working on TAQA TRANSCO or similar utility authority projects is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of project planning, execution, testing, and commissioning.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and coordination skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office, MS Project, and AutoCAD.
• UAE Driving License Mandatory.
