The Role
We are seeking an experienced Lead Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team in Abu Dhabi, specializing in railway, tunnel, station, and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will lead cost management activities, ensuring projects are delivered within budget while maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance.
Responsibilities:

Lead and manage all quantity surveying activities across railway, tunnel, station, and infrastructure projects.

Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and tender documentation to support project procurement.

Monitor and control project costs, conducting regular cost reporting and forecasting to stakeholders.

Review and negotiate contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.

Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and other key stakeholders to accurately assess project needs and changes.

Conduct risk assessments related to costs and advise the project team on cost mitigation strategies.

Ensure all financial records and reports are accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with auditing requirements.

Mentor and guide junior quantity surveyors and support staff to enhance team performance and knowledge sharing. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.

Proven minimum of 8 years experience in quantity surveying within the railway or major infrastructure construction sectors.

Strong knowledge of UAE construction regulations, contract administration, and procurement procedures.

Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage multidisciplinary teams effectively.

Proficient in standard quantity surveying software and Microsoft Office applications.

Exceptional negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.

Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and deliver within deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
