Technical Engineer/ Maintenance Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Technical Engineer to join our manufacturing operations team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in aluminum can manufacturing, steel production, or packaging industries, with expertise in equipment maintenance, process optimization, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives. The role requires a hands-on engineering professional who can ensure high equipment reliability, production efficiency, quality standards, and operational safety.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree (B.Tech./B.E.) in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in:
• Aluminum can manufacturing industry, or
• Steel manufacturing industry, or
• Packaging manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, production machinery, maintenance practices, and manufacturing processes.
• Experience in preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Familiarity with quality management systems and safety regulations.
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and team leadership abilities. (Hindi & English )

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and optimize manufacturing processes to achieve production targets, quality standards, and cost efficiency.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical and process-related issues to minimize downtime.
• Plan, implement, and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Coordinate with production, quality, and maintenance teams to improve equipment performance and plant reliability.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective action implementation for recurring equipment failures.
• Support installation, commissioning, and upgrading of manufacturing equipment and production lines.
• Ensure compliance with company safety policies, environmental regulations, and operational procedures.
• Maintain technical documentation, maintenance records, and performance reports.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce operational costs.
• Provide technical guidance and training to maintenance technicians and production personnel.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with high-speed manufacturing equipment and automated production lines.
• Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
• Familiarity with PLC-controlled equipment and industrial automation.
• Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing, TPM, and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
• Proficiency in engineering drawings, technical specifications, and maintenance planning systems.

Salary: To be discussed during the interview and determined based on relevant industry experience, technical expertise, and qualifications.

Pay: AED1.00 - AED2.00 per month
