We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Business Analyst to serve as the key link between business stakeholders and the technical delivery team. The successful candidate will analyze and document business processes, identify data-related challenges, map data flows across systems, and translate business needs into clear functional requirements that support data governance, integration, and transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities Business Analysis & Process Documentation
- Conduct interviews and workshops with departments and stakeholders to understand current business processes, data flows, and operational challenges.
- Document current-state processes, systems, and data management practices across multiple business domains.
- Identify data duplication, inconsistencies, and inefficiencies within existing systems and workflows.
Process Mapping & Requirements Gathering
- Develop current-state and target-state process maps for each data domain.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into clear, actionable specifications for technical teams.
- Define business rules, validation requirements, and data quality standards to support governance and integration efforts.
- Create detailed functional requirements, user stories, process flows, and business requirement documents (BRDs).
Stakeholder Engagement
- Collaborate closely with business users, data owners, and technical teams to ensure requirements are accurately captured and implemented.
- Facilitate workshops, requirement-gathering sessions, and solution reviews.
- Support change management and user adoption by ensuring business needs are effectively addressed.
Data & Transformation Support
- Assist in data quality, cleansing, and integration initiatives by providing business context and validation criteria.
- Ensure alignment between business objectives and data governance standards.
- Support testing activities, including user acceptance testing (UAT) and validation of implemented solutions.
Candidate Profile Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Business Analysis, Data Analysis, or related roles.
- Proven experience documenting business processes, systems, workflows, and requirements.
- Strong background in process improvement, data management, and digital transformation projects.
- Experience working with enterprise systems and cross-functional stakeholders.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong process mapping and business documentation capabilities.
- Experience gathering and translating business requirements into technical specifications.
- Ability to identify process inefficiencies and recommend practical solutions.
- Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Familiarity with data governance, data quality, and integration concepts is highly desirable.
Certifications
- Professional Business Analysis certifications such as CBAP, CCBA, or IIBA certifications are considered a strong advantage.
Language Requirements
- Native Arabic speaker with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Fluent in English.
- Comfortable working directly with client stakeholders and Arabic-language data.
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Abu Dhabi: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
