Technical Manager

A&M International is currently seeking an experienced and highly motivated Technical Manager to join our team in the United Arab Emirates. We are looking for a strategic and results-driven professional with strong technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and extensive experience in managing engineering and construction operations across multiple projects.

The successful candidate will play a key role in overseeing technical activities, ensuring project excellence, maintaining quality standards, and supporting the successful delivery of projects from design through completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all technical and engineering aspects of projects from planning through execution and completion.
• Provide technical guidance and support to project teams, engineers, consultants, and stakeholders.
• Review and approve engineering drawings, technical specifications, design submissions, and project documentation.
• Ensure all technical activities comply with project requirements, industry standards, local regulations, and company procedures.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and regulatory authorities to resolve technical issues and ensure project success.
• Oversee design coordination and ensure proper integration between various engineering disciplines.
• Identify technical risks and develop effective mitigation strategies.
• Monitor project progress and provide technical recommendations to improve efficiency, quality, and performance.
• Support project planning, budgeting, resource allocation, and execution strategies.
• Lead technical meetings and provide regular reports to senior management.
• Ensure compliance with quality assurance, quality control, health, safety, and environmental requirements.
• Mentor and develop engineering teams to achieve high levels of performance and professional growth.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of experience within the United Arab Emirates in a Technical Manager, Senior Engineer, or similar leadership role.
• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience managing technical operations for construction, infrastructure, fit-out, or MEP projects.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles, project management methodologies, and construction practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Strong knowledge of UAE construction regulations, standards, and approval processes.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and technical teams simultaneously.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and relevant engineering software.
• PMP certification or equivalent professional qualification is considered an advantage.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working on large-scale and high-profile projects within the UAE.
• Strong background in multidisciplinary project coordination.
• Knowledge of value engineering, risk management, and project optimization techniques.
• Experience working with international clients, consultants, and contractors.

Pay: AED7,746.39 - AED26,563.00 per month
