Description
Technical Responsibilities
1. Day to day monitor the network (data & voice) management system for health check of network devices and core links status with remote sites within the south region and connectivity with other regions.
2. Configured and install routers, switches, lightweight access points and Cisco IP phones.
3. Manage Network Cisco Infrastructure for wired and wireless network nodes and IP Telephony services.
4. Manage & update network inventory details.
5. Diagnose network problems involving a combination of hardware, software, power and communications issues.
6. Provide support assistance for resolving issues assigned by the Helpdesk in coordination with the internal team.
7. Document procedures, standards, best practices configurations, settings, installation sequences and procedures for upgrades.
8. Monitor the performance of the ADJD Network infrastructure and make suggestions for improving efficiency.
9. Troubleshooting of Network routing, performance bottlenecks, throughput and branch connectivity issues
10. Upgrade of IOS, Firmware’s, and network monitoring systems to support ADJD LAN /WAN Infrastructure.
11. Other duties as required or assigned by management.
12. Provide weekly status reports to IT operations or Unit Head
Qualification & Experience
- Bachelor in computer science, engineering or equivalent required
- Should have CCNA for Data & Voice
- 3+ years of experience as Data & Voice Network Engineer handling various Campus/ICT projects in any large Enterprise & Government Organization.
- Communication, customer relation skills, and the ability to work with a team.
- Thorough understanding of ITIL and Knowledge of IT Service Desk procedures, solving Cisco Jabber tickets and Cisco WebEx.
