Odoo Developer (Specialized in API Integration & Workflow Automation)

We are currently undergoing a major digital transformation to streamline our operations. We are looking for a highly skilled Odoo Developer to build a fully automated operational ecosystem that integrates our ERP (Odoo) with external communication platforms to ensure operational excellence and ISO compliance.

The Mission: We need an expert to architect and implement a seamless integration between our Odoo Online database and the Meta/WhatsApp Business API. Your goal is to automate our entire customer and operational lifecycle—from initial booking to service completion, automated invoicing, and quality feedback.

Key Responsibilities:

• API Integration: Architect and deploy a robust connection between Odoo Online and Meta/WhatsApp Cloud API for automated, event-driven messaging (templates).
• Field Operations Interface: Customize the Odoo task interface for field staff to handle image uploads, real-time GPS check-ins, and material requests via mobile.
• Automated Workflows: Develop complex automated actions within Odoo (e.g., triggered invoices upon task completion, automatic field alerts, and dynamic pricing updates).
• Resiliency & Fallback: Build a robust "failover" mechanism where the system automatically switches to email communication if a WhatsApp API delivery fails.
• System Optimization: Enhance mobile-friendly views and ensure all workflows meet rigorous documentation standards for ISO quality management.

Technical Requirements:

• Proven experience in Odoo Development (Python, XML, PostgreSQL).
• Strong expertise in RESTful API Integration (specifically Meta/WhatsApp Cloud API).
• Deep knowledge of Odoo Studio and Automated Actions.
• Experience in designing efficient, audit-ready operational workflows.
• Bonus: Experience integrating AI engines (OpenAI) with Odoo for future-proofing our operations.
