Job Title: Business Development Executive – Freight Forwarding & Logistics

Location: Dubai, UAE

About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Executive to join our growing shipping and logistics company in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in freight forwarding and logistics sales within the UAE market and a proven ability to generate new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities in freight forwarding and logistics.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
• Promote the company’s sea freight, air freight, land transportation, customs clearance, and logistics services.
• Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
• Prepare quotations, negotiate rates, and close sales deals.
• Conduct regular client visits and market research to identify new business opportunities.
• Coordinate with operations and customer service teams to ensure excellent service delivery.
• Maintain accurate sales records and submit regular sales reports.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of hands-on sales experience in the UAE freight forwarding, shipping, or logistics industry (Mandatory).
• Strong knowledge of the UAE logistics and freight forwarding market.
• Existing network of customers and business contacts is highly preferred.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Self-motivated, target-oriented, and capable of working independently.
• Valid UAE driving licence is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification is an advantage.
