MEP Electrical Engineer (Construction)

We are seeking a qualified MEP Electrical Engineer with a strong construction background to join our team. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 4 years of UAE experience in MEP construction projects and be capable of managing electrical works from installation through testing and commissioning while ensuring compliance with project specifications and UAE regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage electrical installation works on construction sites.
• Review electrical drawings, shop drawings, and technical specifications.
• Coordinate with consultants, clients, subcontractors, and other engineering disciplines.
• Ensure all electrical works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, project specifications, and applicable codes and standards.
• Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion of electrical activities.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
• Resolve technical issues and provide engineering support during project execution.
• Coordinate testing, commissioning, and project handover activities.
• Prepare progress reports and maintain project documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 4 years of UAE experience as an MEP Electrical Engineer in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, power distribution, lighting, low-current systems, and MEP coordination.
• Experience in reviewing drawings, supervising site works, and coordinating with project stakeholders.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office; knowledge of project management software is an advantage.
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• UAE Driving Licence is an advantage.

Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
