MEP Engineer

We are looking for an experienced MEP Engineer to manage maintenance operations, MEP projects, and technical teams. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building maintenance, with the ability to coordinate technicians, prepare quotations, and ensure high-quality project execution.

Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical Operations

• Supervise HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and drainage maintenance works.
• Plan and monitor preventive maintenance (PPM) and corrective maintenance.
• Diagnose technical issues and provide practical engineering solutions.
• Conduct site inspections before, during, and after project execution.
• Ensure all works comply with local regulations and company quality standards.

Project Management

• Plan daily work schedules for technicians.
• Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Attend client meetings and site inspections when required.
• Verify completed work before handover.

Estimation & Quotations

• Conduct site surveys for maintenance and fit-out projects.
• Prepare BOQs, cost estimates, and technical quotations.
• Recommend suitable materials and equipment.
• Review supplier quotations and compare pricing.

Team Management

• Supervise HVAC technicians, electricians, plumbers, and helpers.
• Allocate manpower efficiently.
• Monitor technician productivity and work quality.
• Train technicians on safety procedures and technical standards.
• Conduct toolbox talks and technical guidance sessions.

Client Coordination

• Meet clients to understand their requirements.
• Provide technical recommendations and solutions.
• Handle client complaints professionally.
• Ensure excellent customer satisfaction throughout the project.

Documentation

• Prepare service reports and completion reports.
• Maintain maintenance records and equipment history.
• Submit daily and weekly progress reports.
• Prepare material requests and coordinate procurement.

Quality & Safety

• Ensure compliance with UAE safety regulations.
• Conduct quality inspections before project handover.
• Ensure proper use of PPE and safe working practices.
• Maintain company quality standards at all times.

AMC Operations

• Plan Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) schedules.
• Monitor preventive maintenance visits.
• Ensure timely completion of all AMC obligations.
• Identify opportunities for additional maintenance services.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 3–5 years of UAE experience in MEP maintenance and fit-out projects.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical systems, plumbing, drainage, pumps, and building services.
• Experience in villa and commercial maintenance projects.
• Ability to prepare quotations and BOQs.
• Good communication and leadership skills.
• UAE Driving License preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of Dubai authority standards (DEWA, Civil Defence, Dubai Municipality, etc.) is an advantage.
